You’ll fly from Zanzibar to the western edge of Tanzania and explore the legendary Gombe Stream National Park, made famous by Jane Goodall’s chimpanzee research. Itinerary
Day 1: Zanzibar – Kigoma – Gombe Stream National Park
Morning flight from Zanzibar to Kigoma (via Dar es Salaam). You’ll meet your safari guide upon arrival and transfer by boat across Lake Tanganyika (approx. 1.5–2 hours) to Gombe Stream. You’ll check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll take a light nature walk along the forest edge to spot olive baboons, red colobus, and tropical birds.

Day 2: Full-Day in Gombe National Park
After breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day adventure in Gombe Stream National Park with expert guides leading you deep into the forest. As you hike through the lush vegetation, listen for their calls and observe them feeding, grooming, and playing in their natural habitat. You’ll continue exploring the forest trails to Kakombe Waterfalls, a refreshing highlight of the park, before enjoying a picnic lunch in the wild. In the afternoon, you’ll trek back through the scenic landscapes and return to your lodge, where you can relax along the tranquil shores of Lake Tanganyika as the sun sets.

Day 3: Gombe – Kigoma – Zanzibar
