Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Meet your professional safari guide in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a game drive through spectacular landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and famous for large elephant herds. Look out for giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions and many other wildlife species. In the evening, proceed to your mid-range lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, enjoying beautiful scenery along the way. Arrive in the Serengeti and begin your game drive across its vast savannah plains, searching for lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at a mid-range lodge or tented camp in the Serengeti.
Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti Safari
Spend a full day exploring Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five and other fascinating animals. Depending on the season, you may also witness parts of the Great Wildebeest Migration. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast or depart after breakfast, depending on your preferred schedule. Continue exploring the Serengeti before travelling towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy the dramatic scenery and wildlife sightings along the way. Dinner and overnight at a mid-range lodge or tented camp in the Ngorongoro or Karatu area.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive. Explore its remarkable ecosystem, home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before travelling to Arusha or the agreed overnight location.
Day 6: AFCON 2027 Football Experience
Enjoy a day dedicated to the excitement of AFCON 2027! Depending on the confirmed fixture and match venue, transfer to the relevant host city or stadium to experience the energy of African football, cheer for your favourite team and celebrate alongside fans from across the continent. The day concludes with a transfer to your hotel or agreed departure point.
Important: The itinerary may need to be rearranged depending on the confirmed AFCON match date and venue. The football day can be scheduled before or after the safari to suit the match you wish to attend.
