DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, meet your professional safari guide and depart for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy an exciting game drive through landscapes dotted with giant baobab trees and famous for large elephant herds. Look out for giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions and other wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before proceeding to your mid-range lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
After an early breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. Explore this remarkable ecosystem, where you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing to your mid-range accommodation in the Ngorongoro or Karatu area for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive through its diverse landscapes, including groundwater forests, open grasslands and lakeshore habitats. Look out for elephants, giraffes, baboons, hippos and a wide variety of bird species. The park is also known for its occasional tree-climbing lions. After the game drive, return to Arusha for your overnight stay or agreed accommodation.
Day 4: AFCON 2027 Football Experience
Enjoy a special day celebrating the passion of African football during AFCON 2027! Depending on the official match schedule and venue, transfer to the relevant host city or stadium to experience the vibrant atmosphere, cheer for your favourite team and celebrate alongside football fans from across Africa. After the match, transfer to your agreed hotel, airport or departure point.
The AFCON match date and venue must be confirmed before finalizing the itinerary. The order of the safari and football experience may be adjusted to match the confirmed fixture.
